He will do demonstrations as well as hands on training.   \nKim Ellington is from Vale\, NC and has been making pottery for many years. He uses local clays\, ash glaze and groundhog kilns\, a tradition that began in the early 19th century. His adaptation of and proficiency in these time-honored techniques has resulted in his pottery being represented in museums\, private collections and ceramic exhibitions throughout the country.

SUMMARY:Wheel Throwing with Dana
DESCRIPTION:Our Friday mornings have been so much fun this fall! This class is for those that want to continue from any previous classes or brand new beginners. Tasks will vary depending on skill level. Beginners will learn basic concepts on the wheel from centering their clay\, throwing a cylinder\, throwing a double walled vessel etc.  Those continuing will learn trimming and other more complex forms.  This is a 6 week class and will include everything you need to learn to throw on the wheel.
